Yes! We will have a 55-passenger party bus that will be making a couple runs for picking guests up and dropping guests back off in downtown Asheville near the hotels. We will provide more details soon as to exact pick-up locations and pick-up times.
Yes. There is Uber and Lyft in Asheville. It may be more challenging to get a Uber/Lyft very early in the morning or late at night. We recommend reserving Ubers/Lyfts in advance if you use their service, but we really encourage everyone to ride on the party bus for transport to and from the wedding!
The wedding ceremony will begin at 4:30pm. Please plan to arrive by 4pm.
The wedding venue (Hidden River Events) is located in Swannanoa, NC. The venue is about a 15 minute drive from the heart of downtown Asheville.
Our wedding dress code is Garden Party attire (think elegant and stylish cocktail/semi-formal wear, but appropriate for outdoors). Both the ceremony and reception are taking place outside. The ceremony site will be in a grassy, open-air field on the farm. The reception will take place in a large, covered event tent with paved/concrete flooring. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and dressing in layers as mountain weather can be unpredictable (we anticipate in May that it will be warm during the day, and cool at night).
