Which airport should I fly into?

1) San Francisco International Airport (SFO) – Approximately 45 miles from Livermore (about 50 minutes without traffic). Best option for out-of-state travelers, with the most transcontinental and direct flight options. 2) Oakland International Airport (OAK) – Approximately 30 miles from Livermore (about 35 minutes without traffic). A great option with a shorter, easy drive. 3) San Jose International Airport (SJC) – Approximately 40 miles from Livermore (about 45 minutes without traffic). Another convenient choice, especially for West Coast travelers. All 3 airports offer easy access to Livermore via rental car or rideshare.

Dress Code: Formal Helpful notes: • Our dress code is Formal — elegant attire that feels right at home in a vineyard setting. Midi or floor-length dresses and classic suits are perfect. Think polished, dressy, and comfortable enough to enjoy the sunshine and a beautiful evening outdoors. • Both the ceremony and reception will take place on grass, so choose shoes you can stroll in with ease. • As the sun sets, the vineyard air can cool down, so a light jacket, wrap, or shawl will come in handy.

When does the wedding ceremony start?

Answer

Please arrive by 4:00 PM to enjoy welcome bubbles. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Guests arriving after 4:30 PM will be kindly asked to wait until the ceremony has concluded before joining the celebration.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will be held on-site at Wente Vineyards.

The ceremony will take place outdoors, and the reception will follow on-site. We recommend bringing layers for the evening.
