"I look at you and see the rest of my life in front of my eyes."

We packed a picnic of cheese, crackers & wine and set off on our annual trip to Vitruvian Park in Addison to admire the beautiful Christmas lights on display. It was really cold this particular evening so we decided to cut our stay short and settled on finding one perfect place down by the water to document our visit before we left. As Jase has come accustomed, he generously offered to help me take the perfect picture for posting with the gorgeous lights in the background. The wind was fiercely blowing so naturally, I turned to fix my hair and ensure it was suitable to snap ... after a few sighs "are you ready yet?", I turned around to find Jase on one knee with the ring. The most incredible ring, I might add, he crafted based off my "dream" details during a trip to the jeweler of which he patiently entertained on our NYC vacation just weeks before.
