What is the dress code?

Answer

This is absolutely not a black-tie wedding. We’re on Maui! The goal is to look nice and be comfortable, just avoid anything overly casual. For Men: A button-up (short or long sleeve) with nice trousers is the sweet spot. Leather sandals are welcome. If it’s windy, a light jacket might come in handy. No denim, and no need to wear a suit or sportcoat. For Women: A dressy-but-comfortable look is perfect — sundresses, jumpsuits, or breezy skirts and tops. Keep fabrics light and island-friendly. Dressy sandals are great. Consider a light wrap or layer for the breeze.

Should I wear sunglasses to the wedding?

YES! During the ceremony, you will be facing the sun. You will be sad if you forget them!

Ceremony - outdoors. Reception - Both indoor and outdoor

Is the ceremony on grass?

Answer

Yes—the ceremony will take place on a lawn. We recommend avoiding narrow or high heels.

Is there an after party?

Answer

After dinner, we hope you’ll stay for dancing and celebrating into the evening! We’ll wrap things up around 10:00 PM.

Maui Weather in December?

Answer

December in Maui is warm, pleasant, and slightly cooler than summer. You can expect daytime temperatures in the mid-70s to low-80s and comfortable evenings in the mid-60s. It’s one of Maui’s wetter months, so light showers are possible. We recommend bringing a light layer for the evening and being prepared for a little tropical mist. Overall, it’s beautiful beach weather with warm ocean water year-round.

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available at the venue. However, all guests attending the ceremony must be shuttled to and from the ceremony. Revisit this FAQ page as the event nears for specifics on timing and location for shuttle pick-up and drop-off.

Where should I stay?

Answer

If you want to be close to the Wedding Venue, we recommend Kihei or Wailea. If not, take your pick of the many beautiful Maui towns.

Are we doing a hotel block?

Answer

No. If you’re traveling from the Mainland, we hope you have the chance to enjoy a few extra days on Maui! We recommend planning your stay around your personal vacation plans. No matter where you stay, you will likely find yourself within 35 minutes of Wailea.

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered with Crate & Barrel. We are also accepting cash which will be used to purchase our first home in 2027. Navigate to the Registry page of our website for more details. More than anything we would love to see you on Maui to celebrate with us!

Should we bring a gift?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not bring gifts to the wedding. If you’d like to give a gift, please ship it to our home in Colorado or feel free to donate to our home purchase fund. Your presence truly means the most! For more details, refer to the registry page.

Are kids invited?

No - except for children who are listed by name on the RSVP page on this website.

Are there food options for kids?

Answer

Yes - when you RSVP for the Reception, you will notice the option for a kids meal. Kids meal options are only available for children under the age of 12. For those of you with kids under the age of 12, we will reach out to you directly to see which meal option they would prefer.

Is there a vegan option?

Answer

Yes! Our vegan entrée is a fire-roasted mushroom dish.
