Questions & Answers...

These FAQs should help you feel prepared for our big day! We're look forward to celebrating with you!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

**If you missed the RSVP by date and want to join us, please still let us know ASAP!!** May 1st, please!!! Our venue requires a headcount prior to the wedding. We want to make sure we have enough space and food for everyone.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Short answer: We prefer if you do not bring anyone additional and hope you understand! Longer answer: Please reach out directly to Amber or Scott if you would like a +1. The guest(s) counted in your invitation and RSVP are very important aspects of our planning. Adding extra people is especially difficult due to the pandemic. We are required to have an exact headcount before the wedding, so we ask you not to bring a date unless they are part of your RSVP. We're excited to celebrate with our friends and family!

Question

Is the reception open-house/come-and-go?

Answer

We understand if our guests have limited time and might just want to stop by, we welcome you! Our open-house time runs from approximately 7pm to 8:30pm. We'll also be hosting activities throughout the night and we would love if you joined us for the entirety of the reception celebrations. Either way, we'd love to see you at some point during our special day.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

For guests, this event is semi-formal. We will be outside, so plan accordingly. Our wedding party has specific formal attire and they should speak with the Maid of Honor or Best Man to confirm what to wear.

Question

Where are you registered at?

Answer

Amber and Scott are registered at two places: Zola and Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Both options are available on the "Registry" tab here on our website.

Question

Is there free parking at the venue, Log Haven?

Answer

Yes! BUT... make sure to VALIDATE at the venue. Millcreek Canyon charges a fee when you leave if you don't hand over a validation.

Question

Are masks required due to the pandemic? What about distancing?

Answer

As of right now, Log Haven and Salt Lake County require masks for all guests. When moving about the property, please keep your mask on. When you're sitting down feel free to remove your mask. Tables will be socially distanced. Please keep checking back! We will update this question if there are any changes to the current COVID-19 requirements.

Question

Will dinner be provided?

Answer

Yes (mostly). A buffet-style dinner will be provided only for those attending the ceremony. At the reception, we will provide plenty of sweet treats, desserts, as well as savory snacks and delicious appetizers for all of our guests.
