Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding is an excuse to dress up! We ask that you wear semi-formal/cocktail attire. This means dress pants and a nice shirt or a nice dress or skirt. Please no jeans or t-shirts. We also ask that you honor tradition and refrain from wearing white/cream/ivory.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to space and budget, plus ones are reserved for long term relationships of couples who we have both met. Any plus ones given are noted on the invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We would love to have your children be a part of our special day! We ask that you keep an eye on your littles throughout the festivities.

Question

How accessible is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors at Rotary Park in Port Washington, WI. There is parking close by. The chairs will be on grass, so there may be some uneven spots in the ground.

Question

How accessible is the reception?

Answer

There is a ramp entrance into the reception hall, as well as a handicap bathroom.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

We are hoping and planning for an outdoor ceremony. In the case of rain, our ceremony will be held at Memories Ballroom. We will make that decision no later than Thursday, June 13th and will post any update here.

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

We will be serving chicken marsala as well as tortellini along with mashed potatoes, wild rice and cranberries, buttered baby carrots, green beans, salad, and a pasta salad.

Question

What is the parking situation?

Answer

At Rotary Park there is a parking lot right by the Harborview Hotel. This lot is labeled as hotel and Duluth Trading Co parking. We are planning on using that lot as the ceremony will only be around 30 minutes. There is also more public parking behind Duluth Trading Co.
