FAQs

Weddings are cute, but so is knowing where to park and if there’s an open bar. All the not-so-romantic but very important details live right here.
Question

Where are the Ceremony and Reception taking place?

Answer

Both the Ceremony and Reception will be taking place at a private venue, located in Ridgefield, Washington. 19216 NW 46th Ave Ridgefield, WA 98642 United States

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your RSVP by June 1st, 2026 so we can plan accordingly!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’re keeping things elevated casual. Guests are encouraged to dress comfortably, but tastefully — skip the jeans and flip flops, but no need for formal gowns and tuxes. We care more about the food, conversation, and memories than what you decide to wear. For inspiration think earthy, flowy, and sun-kissed.

Question

Why did the plans change?

Answer

After careful consideration, John and Amber have chosen to host a single, inclusive celebration that brings together all of our cherished friends and family. We still intend on keeping things light and fun, while also adding our own spin to things. We appreciate your understanding and support as we look forward to this special day.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love our little ones! However, we have decided to keep this an adult-only (21+) event. We hope you understand & enjoy the night off as we can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Question

What if I don’t RSVP in time?

Answer

We will miss celebrating with you! We need to provide our venue with exact numbers by a certain date, so please don’t RSVP late!

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

The closest airport to fly into is Portland International Airport (PDX). For those unfamiliar with the Pacific Northwest, Portland is conveniently located near the Washington border, making it an easy and accessible destination for our wedding guests.

Question

Have your reserved hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

Yes, we plan on reserving room blocks at select hotels in the area. For convenient access to all the details, please check back to the "Travel" tab on our website in January 2026.

Question

Is there transportation?

Answer

Transportation is not provided by the wedding party. Due to limited parking, we recommend using rideshare services like Lyft or Uber to travel between your hotel and the venue. Please also note that, since we'll have an open bar, we encourage guests to prioritize safe transportation.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving between 2:30 and 3:00 pm to ensure a smooth and timely start to our Ceremony

Question

What do I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the event, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “Not Attending” so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 1st, 2026.

Question

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Our wedding venue is an enchanting outdoor setting. We're looking forward to a sun-drenched ceremony with plenty of shade, and we're hopeful for beautiful weather that will create a magical atmosphere throughout the evening.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please make a note when you RSVP!

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

For any questions or concerns, please feel free to email ja.paynes26@gmail.com

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We're creating a cash fund to support our future dreams and adventures together. All the details are available on our Registry page!
