FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that family and friends join us in a night of dressing up. We also want our guests to be comfortable all night. We ask you dress minimally semi-formal.

Question

What will the menu be?

Answer

We will be having the reception catered by Mission BBQ and it will be set up buffet style.

Question

Answer

The deadline for RSVP's is March 20, 2024. RSVP's are to be relayed to my mother or my MOH via text or phone call. Dianna Blanish (814) 521 - 2886 Alexia Opinsky (814) 483 - 2503

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony is to start at 2:30pm. We recommend arriving at least 30 min prior to make sure you have time to say hello's and find a seat.

Question

No Shower?

Answer

Jake and I chose a fairly close date from the date we got engaged to have the wedding. Because of this, we have opted out of having a formal shower. If you would like to give us a gift, please bring it to the reception. As always, a gift is not expected or necessary, but certainly appreciated.

Question

Registry?

Answer

As of right now, Jake and I have chosen not to fill out a registry. Since we have opted out of a shower and bringing gifts to the reception is up to you, we have decided not to set up a registry.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes. We will be having a small selection of alcohol on hand at the reception. We request everyone to drink responsibly the night of our wedding.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately we will not be having any plus ones with our invitations. We are keeping our ceremony and reception small and intimate.

Question

Smoking?

Answer

I am aware many of my friends and family are smokers / vapers. The reception venue we have chosen is non-smoking inside and outside of the venue. Although, there is a smoking area in the parking lot, which is a short walk from the door of the venue.
