Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Amber Costa and Jacob Lambert
We’re so excited to have you join us to celebrate our big day! Columbus is full of great food, local charm, and hidden gems. Here are some of our favorite spots to explore while you’re here.
Bridge Park Avenue

Bridge Park Avenue

Bridge Park Avenue, Dublin, OH 43017

Bridge Park is where the groom asked, “Will you marry me?” and the bride said “yes.” It will always be a special spot for us! Bridge Park has so many great restaurants. We love Valentina’s, where we went after the proposal (don’t miss their arancini) and Tucci’s is another great option with indoor/outdoor seating. After you’ve decided where to eat, grab a sweet treat at Jeni’s Ice Cream or continue the night at Pins Mechanical Co. for arcade games and duckpin bowling. The pedestrian bridge is beautiful for a walk, day or night. On Saturday, check out The Dublin Market at Bridge Park for local farmers, bakers, and makers.

Downtown

Downtown

Columbus, OH 43215

Downtown Columbus is where the bride first moved to the city. So many early memories here! We recommend heading to Jackie O's on Fourth for its indoor/outdoor brewery vibe, and then grab a burger at Goood Friends, which is located in the brewery. There’s also a smaller Pins Mechanical Co. for some pinball or Duckpin. For restaurants, check out Butcher & Rose for a fancier feel, or The Woodbury for brunch. We’re also obsessed with the focaccia bread at Speck Italian Eatery. Looking for drinks on a rooftop? You’ve got two great options: Goodale Station and Brass Eye, which sits on The Junto Hotel and offers incredible skyline views. Don’t forget to take a walk along the Scioto Mile. It’s a perfect riverside stroll in downtown.

Easton Town Center

Easton Town Center

160 Easton Town Center, Columbus, OH 43219

Looking to do some shopping? Easton Town Center is a great outdoor mall that the bride and groom love to visit. For restaurants, check out Slurping Turtle (we’re obsessed with their gyoza and bao buns) or RH Rooftop Restaurant for great vibes and drinks. Don’t miss Dragon’s Donuts for a sweet treat! If you’re feeling adventurous, ride a mechanical bull or try some line dancing at PBR Cowboy Bar + Smokehouse.

Grandview Heights

Grandview Heights

Grandview Heights, OH

Grandview is one of our favorite spots in Columbus. It’s where we had our first “unofficial” date at Grandview Cafe and later moved in together. Grab a bite at The Avenue, Third & Hollywood (don’t miss their Iron Skillet of Cheddar Herb Biscuits!), or JT’s Pizza for a casual meal. For breakfast, we love DK Diner. The groom recommends the blueberry cake donut. Or try Brekkie Shack for great coffee and a cozy vibe. Just a short drive into Upper Arlington, South of Lane is worth it for their famous Bourbon Pecan French Toast. Grandview has plenty of bars too. Grandview Cafe is perfect for wings and watching a game, Barrel & Taps offers a relaxed vibe, and for dive bar fun, check out Meister’s for pool and Buffalo Chicken Cheesy Bread or Mickey’s on Friday for karaoke. Don’t miss Little Grand Market, an indoor food hall with a Saturday farmers market featuring local vendors and treats.

German Village

German Village

Columbus, OH

Looking for some historic charm? German Village is the place for you with its cobblestone streets and old-world charm. Enjoy dinner and drinks at Cento (the bride recommends the Hugo Spritz!) or grab a seat on Lindey’s beautiful patio. Reservations suggested for both. If you’re craving one of Columbus’s best burgers, check out The Thurman Café. For a laid-back bar just down the block from the welcome party, stop by Club 185 for great drinks and late-night bites. Start your morning with coffee and a pastry from Fox in the Snow. The Blueberry Galette is a must! Take a stroll through Schiller Park, a scenic spot perfect for a walk or picnic, and check out the German Village Makers Market on Sunday for local shops and treats. Dog lovers, don’t miss the dog bakery named Cakehound where the bride and groom get their pup’s birthday cakes. Bring one home for yours!

Short North Arts District

Short North Arts District

Columbus, OH

Short North is a lively spot with plenty of bars and restaurants to explore. We love Pint House for a night out or brunch with their mimosa flights, and Fours and Short North Tavern are perfect for bar hopping. End the night with a Korean corn dog from Myungrang Hotdog. For restaurants, check out Martini’s or The Pearl. For drinks with a view, Lincoln Social Rooftop is the perfect spot to soak it all in.

Quarry Trails Metro Park

Quarry Trails Metro Park

2600 Dublin Road, Hilliard, OH 43026

Quarry Trails is where the bride and groom live with their two pups, and it’s a place we love to start our mornings with a walk in the metro park . There’s even a beautiful waterfall to enjoy along the way. For coffee (or a cocktail later), stop by Bada Bean Bada Booze, a coffee shop by day that turns into a bar at night. They also have locations in Grandview and Italian Village, but this one is our favorite neighborhood spot.
