There are so many fun things to do all over DC! From free museums to great food, you’ll have plenty of options to fill any free time.
Our favorite places to eat in Dupont Circle are Boqueria, Kramers, or Rakuya. Dupont Circle is on the red line of the DC Metro. One red line stop north of Dupont headed to Shady Grove is Woodley Park, where you can visit the National Zoo. Three stops in the opposite direction headed towards Glenmont is Chinatown, where you can visit the National Portrait Gallery. One stop before Chinatown is Metro Center, which is a 10 minute walk from the National Mall where you can visit one of DC’s many Smithsonian Museums.
We highly recommend the Air and Space Museum, National Museum of African American History and Culture, or the National Museum of Asian Art. At Metro Center, you can also grab a bite to eat at some of our favorite places, like Oyamel or Zaytinya.
