Located in the center of Melrose close to several historic attractions. Melrose is a picturesque town with Roman heritage, best known for Melrose Abbey. This hotel is a 25 minute drive to Aikwood Tower. Double bed rooms at the rate of £148 per night including breakfast. There is a restaurant and bistro bar at the hotel. The hotel block is reserved for three nights from July 21-24, 2022. Please email amberandforrest2020@gmail.com if you would like a room prior to June 1, 2022. This hotel is a 10 minute drive to Aikwood Tower. There are a variety of bed configurations costing £54-89 per night with option to add breakfast for two for £15, making this a convenient and budget option. There are two restaurants and bar on site. Edinburgh is the closest airport, just over an hours drive or train. You may opt to fly into London, Glasgow, Newcastle upon Tyne and see a bit more of the country!

Take a 55min train ride from Edinburgh (Waverley) to Tweedbank. Its only £11.00. From there take a 4min taxi ride to Burts Hotel in Melrose with 5 Star Taxis in Galashiels (01896 756789).

Take a 55min train ride from Edinburgh (Waverley) to Galashiels. Its only £10.20. From there take Borders Buses to Market Place, Selkirk.
