We're excited you're planning your Crete travel! To get you started with your booking, there are two major airports on Crete for flying in - Chania and Heraklion. Both are about an hour drive to the wedding venue in Rethymno. Chania is known for being smaller and picturesque, while Heraklion is larger and lively.
For accommodation, the northern coast of Crete has endless options to choose from. We've listed some below recommended to us by our planner that are a 10-15 minute drive from the wedding venue.
For getting around during your trip, be sure to check with your hotel to see its offered transportation. While Uber is not broadly available, there are local taxi apps to call for a ride and renting a car could be a good option for people planning sightseeing adventures. We will have shuttle service to and from the venue on wedding day.
