Mackensie and Amber have been best friends since they were 16. Lots of teenage angst turned into adulting and now they will be celebrating Amber’s special day together! Mackensie has a well-known reputation of being a picky eater. It's clear she picks wrong sometimes, because she does not like pineapple on pizza.
Julia Scales

Julia and Amber have known each other since they were in high school. They share a very special bond and are more like cousins than friends. Of course Amber has to have her in her bridesmaids! Julia knows where to get all the good eats wherever she travels, but she will never eat pineapple on pizza.

Beth met Amber in 6th grade. They were inseparable for years. Now Beth will help Amber down the aisle! Beth has never, to her memory, eaten yellow tropical fruit on a tomato sauce pie, but she would try.

Neel and Dan worked a year of co-op placement at Environment and Climate Change Canada in 2017. Since then they have been very much separable, but keep in touch for random spiritual journeys. These include forest hikes too long for Dan and too short for Neel, and debating the concept of time. Will put pineapple on pizza.
Zachery Dickson

"Mad scientist" - the first words Daniel Jay remembers uttering to Zach, years ago in chemistry lab. Zach and Daniel Jay met at McMaster University back in 2010 when they were going through the Bachelor of Technology - Biotech program. Fast forward a bit, and Daniel Jay introduced Zach to his now wife Bia. "You're welcome". Zach doesn't mine pineapple on pizza.
Henrique Tolentino

Henrique and DJ met each other soon after Henrique starting his second co-op at Evertz Microsystems in 2018. They barely do any work with each other, but they play tennis together - DJ's favourite sport. Henrique is also DJ's only friend that, to his knowledge, is lacking of a gall bladder. Would probably eat pineapple on pizza. Correction: Henrique is strongly again pineapple on pizza.
Andrew Latowiec

Andrew met Daniel Jay at McMaster University while attending the the Bachelor of Technology - Biotech program. They found each other to be very relatable while still being very different. Would probably not complain if pineapple was on the pizza.
