Welcome to a wacky welcome variety show! This is the first official event of the wedding, complete with a welcome and orientation... and entertainment by YOU! Come get to know folks and share a talent, skill, poem, performance, dad joke, or just riff something right off the noggin. See the Welcome Booklet for more details!
11:00 am - 5:30 pm
A day of celebration on the beach! There will be games, volleyball, the freakin’ beach, the Puget Sound, a food truck, kayaks and paddleboards, a mobil Sauna backed up to the ocean, mud masks and more! Come and go as you please. At 2pm, the Beachland games will begin! There will be special prizes for speed, wit, charm, good sportsmanship and all so bring the heart of a champion. This is a dessert potluck! Bring a dessert if you are so inspired!
6:00 pm
Starts around 6pm, but come anytime! This is a community song circle, and may have some folks from outside of the wedding joining. There will be soup to enjoy! And dessert. Please feel free to bring an additional dinner potluck item, if easy, no worries at all if not! What is a song circle? Imagine being a part of a choir, where songs are shared that are simple, easy to learn & memorize, and then all sung together~ sometimes with layering harmonies and different parts. No experience or expertise is needed. The song circle facilitator, and any other song enthusiasts present will lead each song, and might guide some layering harmonies. You can participate, or just listen and enjoy! For this song circle, the theme of course is LOVE, reciprocity and celebration! We also invite storytelling throughout, and to wind down at the end. As is true in life, Amber and Charlie love each others company, but also don't do everything together... Charlie may be elsewhere for this one!
4:30 pm - 11:45 pm
We are honored and grateful to have you for this momentous occasion! The wedding ceremony will be followed by many festivities, fine food and drink to enjoy by all! All the details you could ever want are to be found in our "Wedding Booklet", link found in the "FAQ" section of this website.
