We first met at Altoona Beach when we were just 14 years old—completely unaware that we’d found the person we’d one day marry. I was there with my friend Reanna, and Blaze was hanging out with his buddies. While Reanna and I were swimming, a football came flying toward us. Someone had overthrown it, and Blaze came over to get it. Instead of just grabbing the ball and heading back, he stayed and started tossing it back and forth with us. It was a quick, lighthearted moment, but it left an impression. Later that day, I did a little detective work and found him on Snapchat. (Yes, I made the first move!) We started talking, and from that moment on, we never really stopped. What began as a beach day turned into the start of our forever. And now, all these years later, we’re so excited to begin the next chapter—marriage.
