Melissa aka 'MJay' and I met on October 3, 2011 on our first day at KPMG in Anchorage. Over the years at work, our friendship grew and MJay quickly became my best friend. She may take time to love, but when she does it's there for life...she is thoughtful, can see all sides of things, kind, supportive, and loving. MJay is more than my best friend, she is family. Fun fact: MJay is the one who convinced me to start my Tinder profile years ago which eventually led me to meeting Jose.

Sandra and I met over FaceTime in 2021 and what was intended to be a quick introduction turned into an hour+ conversation. After eventually meeting in person our friendship quickly grew and in January 2022, I took the leap and moved to GA and Sandra opened her heart and home to me, surprising us all. A week or so after moving, due to Snowpocalypse, I ended up staying at the house and never left. Sandra likes to think she is scary, but she has one of the most kind, loving souls that you could ever meet. She is creative, loving, fun, daring, and a strong-ass woman; and is truly my best friend and soul mate. Fun fact: Sandra knows WAY more country music than she was even aware of. I am slowly introducing her to the world of country!

Nolan and Amber-Rae, or as he calls her, "A-Raw" met at KPMG years ago. Through working together over the years, the friendship grew. Nolan met Jose very early in the relationship over Teams and then in person in Anchorage. I quickly realized how similar these two men are... Nolan has been there for both of us and our relationship since the beginning and has offered nothing but love and support. He was the first name we thought of for our officiant.
