Our love story began in a modern twist of fate - a simple swipe right on Tinder in January 2021. From that moment on Amber-Rae "Rae" felt an instant connection with Jose. His dynamic mind, creative energy, and inherent kindness and loving soul drew her in, while his inspiring self-growth mindset challenged her to reflect inward and be her most true self. It didn't take long for her to realize that he was someone truly special. For Jose, it was her captivating intelligence, her affinity for art and culture, her beautiful heart, and kind soul that was full of so much love. In all honesty however, it was her very used set of Timberland boots, or “Timbs” as they call them in Boston where Jose is from. This was such a small thing but gave him such a big sense of home and he had no idea it would. “Smitten” is definitely a word that could be used to describe both of their feelings for each other early on.  In the early days of our relationship, we found ourselves immersed in a whirlwind of sweet, thoughtful, and adventurous moments. We shared many moments filled with laughter, vulnerability, and had endless conversations that made our hearts feel full. It wasn't long before our connection deepened, and on that fateful day on June 3, our lives became interwoven. We were at breakfast when the topic of our relationship came up. Rae, overwhelmed with emotions, was trying to muster up the courage to say those three little words. However, before she could, Jose, ever perceptive, simply smiled and said, "I know." And just like that, our journey as a couple officially began. In January 2022, a new chapter in our love story unfolded. Rae made the bold decision to move to Gainesville, GA, just minutes away from Jose's home in Cumming. Rae already met Sandra in an earlier visit and they had formed their own beautiful friendship. It was during this time that Rae met Liam and formed a pretty strong bond, setting the stage for a new chapter of love and family. Before we knew it, Rae had found her place in their home, surrounded by love and laughter. Their home became our home; we became a family.  Fast forward to our second anniversary, a day that will forever be etched in our hearts. We arrived at the luxurious St. Regis Hotel in Atlanta in a pretty sick McLaren hyper car that Rae surprised Jose with, surrounded by beauty and elegance and little did Rae know, Jose had orchestrated a moment that would forever change our lives. As Rae read the heartfelt words in the card he handed her, tears welled up in her eyes. And when she turned around (as she was instructed to), there he was, on one knee, asking her to spend their lives together forever. After a long speechless moment, she said YES, Rae's heart was overflowing with pure joy and happiness and Jose felt like the most blessed man in the world that she would have his hand.  Our dreams for the future are simple yet profound. We aspire to travel the world together, creating a loving home filled with warmth and happiness, and embarking on new adventures hand in hand. But above all, our deepest desire is to continue building a life based on love, respect, partnership, growth, family, and unwavering support.
