Our first official date. Dec 2015. Cory drove through a snow storm to show Amber Estes Park for the first time. It was a trip both of us will never forget.

We were separated by 6 hours once Amber got her job with Channel 13. It was a challenge, but with many sacrifices we made it work! We cherished any time we could spend together.

One of our favorite things about Des Moines is the awesome trail system. We love to run on the Clive Greenbelt trail. This is also where we took our engagement photos!

Christmas 2017 at Amber's parents'. This was the day Cory showed Amber's parents the engagement ring he bought and would plan to give to Amber in a couple weeks.

A picture we took during a crazy work week. We know it's a sacrifice we have to make to work the jobs we love and we enjoy the days we do get off together more.

The first New Year's celebration we were able to spend together. Cory had planned to propose this weekend, but the low that morning hit -19.

Because of DM's amazing trail system, we invested in bikes last spring to enjoy beautiful rides to the breweries! It's also a way for us to exercise together since Cory runs a lot faster than Amber.

We absolutely love DM's diversity. Every year they hold the CelebrAsian festival downtown and since we are going to Thailand for our honeymoon, we gorged ourselves on some delicious Thai food!

We had a blast at the Evelo Family Reunion summer 2018. Amber got a taste of what it's like to marry into a large family! She absolutely loves Cory's family.
