Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by 09/01/25 as we will reserve your spot.

What happens if I don’t RSVP on time?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have have to turn in final numbers of guests, which impacts the quantities of food and beverage that are supplied for the event as well as the number of actual seats provided. We hope we can celebrate with you at a later time!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you invitation comes with a plus one, yes.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered at target and Amazon. A gift is not required although if you would like to gift us anything we have a registry which is found under the registry tab.

What is the weather like?

Answer

Please be prepared for spring weather. Not too cold not too hot. Wear comfortable walking shoes on days besides the event. keep in mind part of the reception is on grass.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the Wedding we request formal, all black attire. Suit and tie and formal dresses. For the Welcome Party we request semi formal. Midi or cocktail dresses, dress pants, dress shirts, or skirts. Avoid sneakers and the colors white and silver.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

yes, we have recommendations for stay. We have a discount code with Kali hotel where our welcome party is at. Contact David or Jannel and for more details please see the "El Salvador" tab.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we have transportation to and from the airport. If you need it please contact us your flight and stay details. If you need transportation to and from the church/venue please let us know as well. If you booked a hotel they may provide transportation to airport for an extra fee. There are also Ubers and taxis available if you want to go to other locations.

By when do I need a passport?

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of departure.

When should I book by?

Answer

We recommend booking your flight between 4-6am. Before November have your flights and stays booked.

Do I need to exchange currency?

Answer

The official currency of El Salvador is the U.S Dollar. We also recommend you take mostly cash as that is what is used the most. Coins are used often as well.

Question

What are the precautions to take when entering the country?

Answer

Currently, El Salvador is at its safest. Once you enter, keep your valuables with you and carry your identification at all times. Do not go anywhere alone, always have someone with you especially at night. Keep in mind it gets very dark at 6pm, plan accordingly.

Any other recommendations/things to know?

Answer

We recommend using google maps as Apple Maps will not work. We recommend for you to bring bug spray, and portable chargers.
