Jordan and Amata initially met while working at a warehouse. Jordan was responsible for collecting products that Amata received. On one occasion, Jordan accidentally drove his equipment into the pallets Amata was handling, causing a collision. Amata was startled and decided to tease Jordan for crashing into her pallets. Jordan responded by jokingly denying the collision, attributing it to the machine instead. Over the course of several weeks, they continued to flirt, eventually spending time together outside of work, where romance blossomed. They officially began dating on May 22, 2023. Exactly 817 days later, Jordan found himself on one knee proposing to Amata.
