The day of our engagement, Blake had originally planned to purpose to me at my birthday party the night of October 16th but he later told me that he thought I had caught onto him so he changed it up. For the record, I didn't know how or when he was going to do it but I obviously  knew it was coming! After a long day at the church, I walked into the lobby and our good friend and our photographer asked me to come outside to take a photo with my friend. We walked across the street to the empty parking lot...I knew something was up. After taking some photos Blake comes walking up behind me saying "Hey! What's up?" Once he got to me, he got on one knee and said "Amaris Grace Rose Berwick. I adore the woman that you are. I can't WAIT to grow old with you. Will you marry me?" Of course I said "YES!"
