FAQs

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate the guests formally invited on the wedding invitation. If your invitation is addressed to you "and guest" you may bring a plus one. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

While we love to watch children laugh and play, this is an adults only kind of day. As a couple we decided to limit the attendees to the wedding to only those who are 18 or older. So please put on your dancing shoes and have a night off from the kids.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that our guests dress in elevated cocktail attire. Please refrain from wearing white, off white, cream, champagne, and beige. We ask that you do not wear jeans, shorts, tank tops, t-shirts, flip-flops, or sneakers.

Question

What does elevated cocktail attire mean?

Answer

If opting for a suit, a tie is acceptable. For women, please feel free to wear a floor-length gown, a fancy midi cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit. For more ideas, please check out these links: https://www.theknot.com/content/cocktail-wedding-attire or https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTjuN1dG4/

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 15-20 mins early as it may be difficult to get to our venue and we will be starting on time.

Question

How do we get to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

We suggest that you carpool and take a rideshare to the venue. Please use this Lyft code for $15 off your ride: STRONGMANSION920 Also we will provide a bus that will take people from the wedding venue back to the Marriott Courtyard Frederick Hotel. The bus will leave at 8:40PM and 10:00 PM

Question

Will there be parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available at the venue. If guests choose to drive to the venue, there is a free parking lot out front with limited spaces (roughly 75). If you decided to drive to the venue, and do not feel comfortable enough to drive home, you are able to leave your car at the venue, take our shuttle bus back to the venue, and pick up your car the next morning.

Question

What time will the bus leave the venue to go back to the hotel?

Answer

The first bus will leave the venue at 8:40PM, the second bus will leave the venue at 10:00 PM

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographers and videographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us!

Question

Will the wedding be outside?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony will take place outside, and the reception and dinner will be held under a tent.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar with beer, wine, and 2 of our signature drinks.
