Emma Dotson
Maid of Honor
Emma and Amanda met at UTSA and have been friends for 9 years. They could be found at the coolest coffee shops and hole in the wall restaurants Emma found. They have had many adventures together including one east coast road trip in 2014 to North Carolina to meet up with friend Taylor Nawrocki (bridesmaid). They bond over shopping, wineries, and sunny river days. Even though they live on opposite ends of the country they remain very close and have their annual Christmas reunion in Wimberley. Emma currently finished her Doctor of Nursing from UW in April 21’ !
Zach Parks
Best Man
Steven and Zach met in 2018 when they worked together at Office Max. They spend time together by playing games on Discord, running, and taking day trips to San Antonio. During the summer time they can be found swimming at our favorite river spots or attempting to fish. Once a year they go camping and attend the Texas Renaissance Festival for the weekend. Their biggest trip to date is a 22 hour road trip to Idaho. Zach currently works at Harbor Freight with Steven.
Jasmine Guerrero
Bridesmaid
Jasmine and Amanda were randomly put in a group project together at Schreiner University. They became best friends very quickly and for the next two years were attached at the hip. They could be found either at Chick Fil A or their favorite library booth getting sushed by the librarian. Their favorite thing to do is go antique shopping and getting long dinners. Their biggest adventure to date is road tripping to New Mexico in 2018. Jasmine graduated from Schreiner University and is currently a teacher at Fredericksburg ISD.
Austin Garces
Groomsman
Steven was introduced to Austin in 2019 after he had been dating Amanda for a few months over a game of glow in the dark mini golf with fellow Groomsman Alec Garces. They bond over playing a very competitive game of Mario Party, traditional Friday night happy hour at Bracero, bar hopping, and small family house parties. Austin is currently a Senior Pharmacy Tech at Walgreens and a nursing student at Chamberlin University expecting to graduate in Summer 2022. He is the father to our beloved flower girl Macie Garces.
Taylor Nawrocki
Bridesmaid
Taylor and Amanda met at UTSA in 2012 on the first day of classes. This friendship is special because it is a long distance friendship that has remained strong over many years. Once a year they meet up and pick up right where they left off. They bond over very long phone calls, zoom calls, and sending gifts and letters throughout the year. Taylor graduated form UNC and still currently lives in North Carolina and works for the Department of Housing.
Trey Jaco
Groomsman
Trey and Steven are first cousins and have remained close throughout their lives. They can be found once a year every year in the very sunny Florida in the same beach house they have rented for 22 years. Growing up they bonded over video games, music, and sports. Trey is currently at Eastern Kentucky University studying Exercise Sport Science concentrating in fitness and well management.
Hailey Norton
Bridesmaid
Amanda and Hailey met in 2015 at Walgreens in Kerrville. There Hailey also met her brother Alec Garces when they started dating. She has been apart of the Garces family for many years now. Together they live in San Antonio and have two pugs Oliver and Pepsi. Hailey currently is a pharmacy tech at Walgreens and attends UTSA expecting to graduate Spring 2021
Alec Garces
Groomsman
Alec and Steven met during the introductory hangout with fellow groomsman Austin Garces in 2019. They bond over sharing new music and popping open bottles of wine. They can also be found at small family house parties. Alec is currently a Pharmacy Tech at Walgreens and a nursing student at UT Health Science Center at San Antonio with an expected graduation in Spring 2022.
Lauren Cross
Bridesmaid
Lauren is Steven’s younger sister who lives in west Texas with her husband Ty Cross (groomsman) and both work at an agricultural insurance company and graduated from Texas A&M. Lauren and Amanda met in 2019 when her and Ty came to Kerrville for the first introductory hangout before meeting the whole family. She is very sweet and always bring positive energy wherever she goes! Look out for the cutest pregnant bridesmaid expecting her first baby with her husband Ty in August 2021!!!
Ty Cross
Groomsman
Ty and Steven met in 2009 where they were in high school band together at Robinson High School. Ty and his sister Lauren started dating and got married in 2017 and graduated from Texas A&M. He lives in west Texas with wife Lauren Cross and works at an agricultural insurance company. Ty and Steven bond over family gatherings and remain close brother in laws. Ty is expecting his first baby with his wife Lauren in August 2021!!!
