We first met in Jan 2019 when I came in for an interview at Office Max during the interview I kept thinking this guy is really cute! After I worked there a few months me and Steven started to talk a little more and I got the feeling he might like me but he was my boss!! Eventually I built up the courage and asked Steven if he liked me and he said yes. We went on our first date in June and a few months later in Sept he asked me to be his girlfriend on the perfect sunny day at the river. Fast forward to 2020 we decided to move into our first apartment together in Feb and a few weeks later the COVID-19 pandemic started. Thankfully we had each other to quarantine with and became each other's best friends and fell deeper in love than ever. The countless days of talking, laughing, cooking dinner, and movies in bed together was all we needed to know this love is forever. Then on one isolated river day in the middle of summer Steven asked me, "When do you want to get married?"

In November we started to briefly look at houses and within one week we found the PERFECT house and sent in our bid! A few anxious days later we got news that they accepted. That's right WE BOUGHT A HOUSE! The next day Steven asked to go take a photo by the for sale sign and I thought nothing of it. We attempted to take a photo but Steven was shaking so much I offered to do it on my phone when he grabbed me by the shoulders and said, "Amanda, the real reason we're here...." Then he kneeled down and popped the question all while the sellers of the house were watching through the window! I was in such shock that I couldn't process the proposal all I could think of was how did you pull this off without me knowing?! Then we went out for celebratory margaritas & facetimed our family to share the good news!
