From snorkels to surfboards, Auntie's has everything you need! If you're staying in Wailea, we encourage you to rent snorkels from Auntie's, as it's fairly common to spot sea turtles and Humuhumunukunukuapuaʻa (Hawaiian reef fish) up close just off the beach near your hotel.
Molokini Crater is known for teeming sea life, specifically sea turtles (you can see several per hour). You can book a snorkeling tour that includes a boat ride to the island.
Catch your first wave with expert-led surf lessons, perfect for beginners or anyone ready to experience Maui’s iconic waves.
Filled with small vendors and souvenir items, Kihei Kalama Village is an open-air market where you can find everything from coffee to tiki mugs and just about every Hawaiian keepsake you could imagine. We recommend pairing this pitstop with poke from the deli at Foodland (just a 3-minute walk away!).
Waterfalls, hairpin turns, and shaved ice, oh my! Off the beaten path, this daring drive takes about 3 hours without stops (8-10 roundtrip) and we recommend a full day (or more) to be able to enjoy the numerous scenic stops (use the Shaka Guide App), as well as the final stop, Haleakalā National Park. For interested adventurers, please visit the National Park website for sunrise and sunset tours.
