Are children included in the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

We love your little ones, but kindly ask that children under ten do not attend the ceremony or reception. Thank you for your understanding! Children are more than welcome to join us for the pre- and post-wedding celebrations.

What about gifts?

Answer

We thoroughly and wholeheartedly do not expect gifts, as we know how much effort will go into attending our wedding. Your presence truly is our gift! However, if you feel like you absolutely cannot resist and must get us something, a contribution to our wishing well or a lovely card would be much appreciated. If you’d prefer to send a contribution ahead of time, feel free to reach out – international currencies can be a bit of a puzzle!

What is the Dress Code for the Wedding?

Answer

Formal: Long dresses and suits or tuxes are the way to go. Ladies: While your fabulous heels are welcome, please keep in mind there will be quite a bit of walking involved—including on dirt paths and grass—and yes, some stepping on and off boats. Choose your footwear wisely to keep things steady and comfy! Also, it might get a little cool, so consider bringing a jacket or wrap—because "shivering in style" is not as fun as it sounds!

Do I need to hire a car?

Answer

No, you do not need to rent a car. Shuttle services are available for both Sunshine Coast Airport and Brisbane Airport, and Ubers are a convenient option for getting around Noosa. Most shops and restaurants are within "adventurous" walking distance, and with often heavy traffic during school holidays, it can be easier to leave the car behind!

What is the wedding day schedule?

Answer

1:40 PM – Bus departs from Noosa Harbour Resort (for Harbour Resort guests only) 2:00 PM – Arrive at Hidden Grove for the ceremony (whether you take an Uber, taxi, Noosa Ferry, or enjoy a scenic walk, just remember—the ferry will be your ride to the reception, so leave the car behind!) 3:45 PM – Take a short stroll to Noosa Woods Jetty to board the Noosa Ferry for cocktail hour 4:00 PM – Ferry departs for a one-hour cruise with drinks and nibbles 5:00 PM – Arrive at Noosa Boathouse (194 Gympie Terrace), for the reception Expect a sit-down dinner, endless drinks, dancing until your feet can’t take it, and enough cake to make your sweet tooth do a happy dance. 11:45 PM- Bus back to your Accommodation

how should I get to the ceremony?

Answer

For those staying at Noosa Harbour Resort, a bus will depart at 1:40pm to take you to the ceremony. Whether you take the bus, an Uber, taxi, Noosa Ferry, or enjoy a scenic walk, just remember—the ferry will be your ride to the reception, so leave the car behind!
