Fly to Cancun
Reserve flights from your home base airport to Cancun (CUN) Airport. The hotel room reservations were made for Friday 3/22/24 to Monday 3/25/24. You are welcome (and encouraged) to extend your stay and fly in sooner or leave later than these dates. If you live in or near San Diego, we recommend checking for flights out of San Diego, LA, or Tijuana, as the flights tend to be less expensive and you have more flight time options. You can use the Cross Border Express (CBX) border crossing which allows you to park in San Diego and walk into Mexico via their personal customs and air conditioned pedestrian bridge that takes you directly into the Tijuana Airport. To use the CBX crossing bridge, it is $37.95 per person roundtrip. Ryan and Amanda have done this many many times for trips to Mexico and can vouch that it is convenient and safe.

Barcelo Maya Riviera is a luxurious 5 star all-inclusive resort, meaning all of your food (breakfast, lunch, & dinner) and drinks (soft drinks & cocktails) are completely covered for your entire stay! Please keep in mind that the nightly price for the hotel room includes the all inclusive package rates for 2 people. All of our guests will need to reserve their room with our wonderful reservation agent's named Lawrence Agyekum and Hailee Dalzell, to receive the discounted "group rate". Whatever the website rate is showing for right now, you should receive 10% off that nightly rate. ALSO signing up to be a Barcelo member is FREE and will provide another small discount so we recommend signing up for that too! All room reservations were made for Jr. Suites, from Friday, 3/22/24 to Monday 3/25/24. You are most certainly able to extend your stay & upgrade your room beyond a Jr. Suite (ie. ocean front, swim up suite), & you can inquire about this in further detail with the agents. *The email route has been shown to take longer to reach the agents, so at this point we recommend calling the 1-800-227-2356 and asking for one of the agents. * Lawrence works M-F , 8-5PM eastern time Hailee works SUN-THU 12-4 pm and 7-11 pm central time The resort is requesting a 50% deposit of the room total at the time of the reservation.
