Amanda's friend had been begging her to give Russ a chance after he messaged her on Instagram. Amanda and Russ had their 'first date' hike re scheduled for the third time when Amanda decided to blow it off again to go on a two night camping trip with her dog, Archer. After the first night all of the other campers at the site had left and Amanda realized she was 6 miles deep into the woods..alone. She decided now would be a good time to text Russ and ask if he wanted to go camping. Surprisingly, Russ said yes! Amanda and Archer hiked back 3 miles while Russ hiked in 3 miles. A couple hours later the two met at a watering hole, picked out the perfect camp site and they lived happily ever after!

Russ and Amanda went back to the camp site they met at in Round Valley. Russ got down on one knee in front of the campfire.
