FLIGHT OPTIONS

DON'T PANIC! Rates for air travel are up right now. Your least expensive routes will always be to Fort Lauderdale or Miami. Let Amanda know if you need assistance finding reasonable airfare. Fly directly into Key West (EYW) or fly to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) or Miami (MIA) and rent a car - be prepared for a beautiful drive!

TAXI

If you choose to fly directly to Key West, grab a taxi from the airport. We suggest calling Mike at 305-587-9562. If you choose to take one of the taxis waiting outside baggage claim, please be sure to get a price quote prior to entering the taxi. The cost to get to Old Town should be $9/person.

TRANSPORTATION ON THE ISLAND

You can walk almost everywhere you need to on the island. Our favorite way to explore is by bike. Check out Eaton Bikes or WeCycle - both will drop your bikes off right where you're staying!

DITCH THE CAR

If you decide to rent a car and drive down from the mainland, we suggest returning the car for the duration of your stay. Parking does not come easy (or cheap!) and you won't be needing a car for this trip anyways!
