Grand Teton National Park needs no introduction, the main attraction! Picnic at a lake: String Lake - This shallow and sandy bottom lake is the warmest water you'll find in the Park, perfect for swimming and floating. Paddleboard and float rentals are available around town. Jackson Lake - The largest lake in the area; great for camping, fishing, and boating. Rent a boat at Signal Mountain Lodge. Jenny Lake - Sits directly below the Tetons with a scenic Ferry ride and popular visitor centers. A start to many great hikes. Just Drive: The park is worth a quick trip if you don't have time for a more adventurous activity. Teton County, Idaho is located on the West Side of the Teton Mountain range. Take "The Pass" better known as Teton Pass on Highway 22 from the Town of Jackson over the State line into Idaho. The 17.5-mile-long road winds up the Teton Range with Grades up to 11.5% with the new detour created after the "Big Fill" Landslide which occurred in Early June of 2024.
Wilson is a residential town at the base of Teton Pass, located between the Town of Jackson and Teton Village.

This is the main highway junction South of Jackson. At the roundabout, take the first exit west towards Alpine through "The Canyon" or the Snake River Canyon, or the second exit east up the Hoback River Canyon towards Bondurant. Hoback Market is a great place to stop for snacks & "sloshies"! Nearby are the only two developed hot springs in the area - tickets are required to access the facilities. Granite Hotsprings - Second exit at the roundabout. A beautiful 12-mile drive up a gravel road in the Gros Ventre Wilderness. Campsites available. Astoria Hotsprings - First exit at the roundabout. Located just off of Highway 89, across the Snake River.

Venture up McCoy Creek Road, or keep your eyes peeled for pull-offs on Highway 26. We often take advantage of Boat rentals from Alpine Adventure Rentals. Greys River Road is a well-graded, accessible road that winds deep into the Wyoming and Salt River Mountain ranges. Greys River Road is famous for endless ATV/Side-by-Side traffic in the summer and Snowmobiling traffic in the Winter. Earning its nickname, the "backcountry highway".
