Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony begins at 4:30 p.m. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time to park and find your seat!

Question

Answer

As we are excited to celebrate the start of our family, we encourage others to utilize this opportunity to celebrate their own! As such, children included on RSVPs are more than welcome for both the ceremony and reception. We kindly ask that parents keep an eye on their children throughout the celebration to ensure the safety of both the children and the museum artifacts.

Answer

If a guest is indicated on your RSVP, they are warmly welcome at our wedding.

Question

There is parking just a short walk across the river from the venue at Embassy Parking Facility. Parking is free (on Sundays). Signage will be placed to help guide guests towards the museum entrance. https://www.charlesrivermuseum.org/directions

Question

Is there transportation to/from the venue?

Answer

We are planning to provide guest transportation after the wedding from the venue to the Holiday Inn Express (details TBD). The 61 bus (Waltham Center route) conveniently stops on Totten Pond Rd by the hotel & on Carter St next to the venue.

Question

What special rules are set forth by the Charles River Museum?

Answer

Please kindly observe all museum rules during the event. We are honored to have our wedding in a unique and innovative venue and want to ensure that the displays and exhibits are enjoyed and respected by all guests. If your child attends the celebration, please ensure that you supervise their journey through the museum exhibits.

Question

Is photography allowed?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony & will ask guests to refrain from using their phones during this time. We have a spectacular photographer for the wedding & will gladly share these photos with guests afterwards. The museum has no photo restrictions, so please feel welcome to take as many photos as you desire during the cocktail hour & reception!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will host a Welcome Party for all guests on Saturday night at a local brewery! Please see the "Schedule" tab for more details.

Answer

While the ceremony & reception will take place on the 2nd floor of the museum, there is an accessible entrance we can utilize. Please reach out to the bridge, groom, or their parents if you have concerns about accessibility. https://www.charlesrivermuseum.org/accessibility
