Wedding Party

Desi

Officiant

We wouldn't be having this wedding if it weren't for Desi. Patrick, or Packy as she calls him thanks to Noah, has known Desi for 14 years. I have also known Desi for a very long time and she has been a constant in our lives thanks to Featherbed. She was the one to egg us on to kiss each other and well.....here we are. If it weren't for her, I truly don't know what my life would look like. Even when she left us to move to Virginia, we talked to her as much as we could and would always try to visit her when she came home. We all share a mutual love of Grey's Anatomy & Mexican food as well. We are both so thankful that the person who started this whole thing is able to marry us!

Julia

Maid of Honor

I met Julia freshman year of college and we have been inseparable ever since! We lived together for 3 years in college and are still constantly at each other's apartments. My mom calls Julia her other daughter and I have been at one too many Fackelman parties, whether it's Christmas or dad's annual Good Friday pizza party. At this point, we are more family than friends, and I wouldn't want it any other way! It also helps that her and Patrick are nearly the same person, which is probably why I love them both so much. They share a love of all the nerdy and boring things, like video games and baseball. When she comes to our house, I have to make sure that they actually include me into their conversations!

Jay

Bridesman

I also met Jay freshman year of college, and while he didn't live on Wolfe 8, he might as well have because he was always there! While we spent a lot of time in college together, like getting photographed with Julia and I kissing his cheeks, Jay also became my music festival buddy! We came out of retirement and went to Lollapalooza together this Summer in Chicago and it was the best time!

Alyson

Bridesmaid

Alyson is another TCNJ friend and housemate for 2 years at 6 Dix! RIP The Coop, where the two of us always kept the house clean! Al and I always worked out together, especially freshman year, but once we lived together, we would always go to hot yoga together. We kept each other motivated and I wish we lived close enough to each other to continue going! Now, we just try and encourage our group of friends from college to actually hang out with each other, usually with minimal success.

Amanda

Bridesmaid

The other half of Amanda squared! Amanda is also a friend from TCNJ, but not a freshman floor friend. Amanda and I were in the same sorority, and that's how we got the nickname Amanda squared because we were always together. If you asked us now though, I don't think either of us would want to be associated with Greek Life. Amanda had to go and get her doctorate all the way in Philly, so unfortunately, I don't get to see her as much as I'd like, but she's Dr. St. Paul now, so I guess it worked out! When we do get together, it's as if nothing has changed! She's also pretty famous on Tik Tok, you should go check her out! (@drstpaul)

Liana

Bridesmaid

Honestly, I am not even sure how Liana and I met, but she came into our friend group and her and I have gotten so close ever since. She also works with my mom and can be found baking cookies at my house for their school's bake sale, or out to dinner with my family at Abigail's! Li is Majority Rules (formerly Causing a Scene), my dad's band's, biggest fan. They dedicate Flagpole Sitta to her at every gig! Li and I can often be found at Butchies, or in Bridget's basement for Thursday Night Football (or really any night of the weekend)

Bridget

Bridesmaid

Bridget and I met because our husbands happen to be best friends, and I am so beyond thankful for that! Bridget pushes me outside of my comfort zone, and by that, I mean keeping me out partying until 5 am. No matter where we are though, you can always find us giggling together about God knows what, and there are many pictures to prove it. I am so happy we have gotten so close and I don't know who else I would send a million Tik Toks to everyday! We also love forcing our boys to do things with us when we all know they'd rather be home playing video games. Although her basement is a time warp, there's no other house I'd like to spend my weekends in!

Eric

Best Man

Eric and I met way back in tee ball and then reconnected in middle school. Quickly becoming best friends, we have stuck by each others' sides through it all. Whether it's spending late nights on Xbox or packing up the car to visit our friends at Monmouth, we have created memories together that will last a lifetime. As we've gotten older, our friendship has only grown stronger. Now that he and his wife have a house, Thursday Night Football has become a tradition, and I couldn't think of a better way to spend my weekends than chilling and drinking at the Reyes residence.

Tony

Groomsman

Another friend from the baseball field that became a ride or die in middle school. We started off constantly being on different teams until one summer we finally ended up on the same one, and from then on the two of us were as thick as thieves. Now we talk nearly everyday, so even though we no longer live five minutes away from one another, we still stay as close as we were and try to hangout any chance we get.

Kevin

Groomsman

One of the FBL OGs, Kevin and I have worked together for a very long time now. If you ask either one of us how we became so close, honestly neither of us would be able to tell you why. One day in aftercare we just started talking about life and fast forward to freshman year at Kean, he asked me to chill with him and a few of his buddies. Now here we are ten years later and I consider a lot of those guys my closest friends.

Jimmy

Groomsman

Jimmy was one of Kevin’s friends, and one of the first ones that I met when Kevin asked me to hangout. I’ll never forget the night we met, playing wiffle ball on the softball field at Brewer, I somehow managed to break the wiffle ball bat and I still hear about it from time to time. Quickly becoming very close friends we started hanging out more and playing Xbox together. Supposedly we actually met when we were freshmen in high school and apparently there is a picture of us together from back then floating around… but no one can seem to find it.

Sean

Groomsman

Sean and I had known of each other from high school and many mutual friends. Although we never really hung out until we were both in college. I was asked to be on his team for the Colonia Wiffle Ball Tournament and from then on, we were great friends. Whether it is some type of party, a wiffle ball game, or we’re just watching some type of sporting event we always have a great time.

Tom

Groomsman

I've known Tom just about since the day I was born....I guess I didn't really have a choice, considering he's my brother. Throughout our lives, there have been periods where we have been really close and times where we have not spoken to each other, but I'm thankful to have a built in friend, especially when I had no friends and forced him and his friends to play with me (except I never had to be "it"). I am glad that now that we are adults, we ~usually~ have a good relationship and I know I can go to him whenever I need him, like when something is wrong with my car. I am so relieved that he and Patrick get along so well and he's able to stand up there with us as we get married.

Noah

Junior Groomsman

Although we’re fifteen years apart, aside from the height difference and the beard, you wouldn’t have guessed we we're so far apart. Despite the age difference, we act like there are only a few years between us. No matter how far apart we are and the constant bickering between us, we always laugh and have the best time together.
