Wedding Party

Josh Sorensen

Best Man

Josh is not only just my younger brother but he is also one of my best friends. From our childhood to our adult years, we have bonded through seeing movies, to going to concerts, to just spending the days exploring random record stores throughout the cities. I’m grateful to have him by my side to nerd out with me!

Charlie Phenow

Groomsman

Charlie is one of my oldest childhood friends. My fondest memories are goofing around in boy scouts while sailing the ocean. After 20yrs of friendship now its crazy to see how much we’ve grown and I’m so happy that we’ve stayed so close to be a part of each other’s weddings this year.

Corey Adney

Groomsman

I met Corey through my close friend Emma. She fell in love with this strapping young lad and I had the honor of being a part of their wonderful wedding; now I’m lucky enough to have him be a part of my big day! Corey blended right into our friend group and has really been a motivational friend to Amanda and I.

Phil Schmidt

Groomsman

I’ve known Phil for about 3 years now. He moved to Minnesota from Alaska with his then fiancée now wife Tara. With Tara being one of Amanda’s best friends, of course we went on a million double dates together, where I got to find out what an awesome guy Phil is! After bonding over Star Wars, endless nights playing the train game, and of course Game of Thrones parties, I knew that I had to have this good friend as one of my groomsmen!

Kevin Shermock

Groomsman

Kevin and I became good friends back in 7th grade. From there our friendship grew and throughout the years we have become even closer. He has been by my side through thick and thin and I couldn’t have my wedding without him standing with me.

Jesse Ellgren

Groomsman

Also one of my oldest friends, Jesse has been along for the ride since elementary school. Him and I influenced each other with our rebellious flare for excitement. From skateboarding, to all night parties, the fun never seemed to end. I have nothing but love for this man and I’m so happy to have him be a part of my wedding!

Miles Wakumoto

Groomsman

For the past 10years Miles and I had been friends but it wasn’t until recently when he wised up and moved to Blaine that our friendship has flourished. He is such a down to earth guy and makes any situation a blast!

Layne Gruman

Groomsman

Being someone I’ve known for the past couple of years, Layne is someone I’ve grown really fond of. He has a really good heart and is quite the family man with his awesome wife Ashley and his adorable children. I could spend all night discussing random video games, books and movies with him, and I am completely proud of him for facing his clown fear by watching Stephen King’s IT with us!

Laura Crow

Co-maid of honor

Laura being my older sister has always been the protective one. Through teaching me how to ride a bike to being my water tubing partner, our whole childhood she would make sure that she was the only one that could pick on me and that followed through to adulthood when she found out Jake and I were dating. With his tough exterior she had to make sure that he was treating me right. I’m so happy to see that they get along great. She has been very welcoming to Jake becoming part of the family. I know that she will always have my back and I’m grateful that I have her as my big sis.

Jamison Reichert

Co-Maid of Honor

Our friendship began 19 years ago at the swing set during recess. Jami instantly became one of my besties and her family welcomed me in like one of their own! From slumber parties and church in the mornings, to days on the lake, to roommates during the college days; it’s crazy to think back on all of the great memories we’ve had together! I honestly would not be the person I am today without this lady and I can’t wait to see the adventures we have together in the future!

Emma Adney

Matron of Honor

Growing up in the same neighborhood Emma and I became friends as kids. Rolling down hills and endless days at the park, Emma was always the friend that it didn’t matter how weird we were, we would just embrace each other’s quirks and goof around. It’s insane to think back on all of the years that we have been besties! Near the end of high school Jake and Emma became friends through the same mutual friend group where I’d later get to know Jake a lot more! I was honored by being a part of Emma and Corey’s wedding, where her pairing me up with Jake as my groomsman ended up playing a part in him and I starting to date. We are so excited that they can now be by our side for our big day!

Tara Schmidt

Bridesmaid

I met Tara sophomore year in high-school and we became friends instantly. I admire how she always marches to the beat of her own drum! She was probably the friend that most encouraged me to stand up for myself and to not care about other people being judgmental. I can still hear her making crow cawing calls through the hallways of school just to get my attention! I’m so glad that even with her going off to college in Alaska for a few years that we stayed such close friends! When Tara and Phil moved back to MN it did not surprise me one bit that the guys would hit it off and become good friends. Here’s to many more years of playing the train game!

Bridgette Cain

Bridesmaid

When I started my first job at LifeWay I never thought I’d end up finding so many amazing friendships! Bridgette and I clicked right away, and she quickly became one of my favorite people to work with. I’m happy how much our friendship has grown over the last 8 years. I was lucky enough to be a part of her wedding and now have the honor of being godparent to her kids! Many days spent at the beach and them coming over to play with the cats, I always love spending time with them all. I’m so excited to have the kids be a part of my wedding now too, as the ring bearers and flower girl!

Heidi Roberts

Bridesmaid

I’ve been friends with Heidi since high school. She is genuinely such a kind and caring friend! Even though she is a busy mama of four kids, we still make sure we set aside time to hang out and it’s just like the good ole days! Give us a bottle of wine to pop open and we could sit there for hours chitchatting the night away. I’m so happy to have her by my side at the wedding!

Shelby Harris

Bridesmaid

Shelby and I became good friends through working at Jordan A Salon together. I remember just after starting there I was talking to another friend about the new job, she was asking how the coworkers seemed and one of the first things I said was “pretty cool, I could see myself becoming friends with this receptionist named Shelby.” Sure enough about 4 years later she has become a very close friend! We always have a blast going out for drinks on the patio and one of these days will get lucky on pull-tabs!

Mahrya Brezinka

Bridesmaid

Mahrya is another amazing friend that I made at LifeWay. She is such a goofball, we have had so many good laughs! It has been so fun seeing her become such a strong faithful woman and I know that she will always be there to support me whenever I might need it. I hope that we will continue the tradition of long walks and frozen yogurt for a very long time! I’m so happy that we could celebrate her wedding last fall and I’m super excited to celebrate with her for ours now!

Pam Dygert

Personal Attendant

Pammy was my coworker/boss at LifeWay, with her bubbly personality she quickly became a friend! So many nights spent after work grabbing appetizers at Applebee’s just venting about how ridiculous some people can be. I love her youthful personality and how she can talk to literally anyone! I couldn’t have thought of anyone better to be my personal attendant.
