Things To Do
Wineries
Corvallis is actually in the heart of wine country here in Oregon! There are plenty of beautiful wineries in the area that would be great to visit! Attached is a Willamette Valley wine guide, or you can simply look up wineries in the area on your own!
Portland
Portland has so many fun activities you could do from the brand new art museum, to amazing food, to the worlds largest book store(Powell's Books), to beautiful gardens, Portland has it all! We would recommend spending the day here because any less would leave you wanting more! Check out the website for some inspiration for activities to do.
Downtown Corvallis
If you want to do some local exploration, downtown Corvallis is full of unique shops and good food! Some of our favorites for shopping include Inkwell Home Store, Guardian Games, and Restyle and some of our favorites for food include Aomatsu Sushi, Sugar J's ice cream, and Bo & Vine Burger!
Hiking
If your looking to get out into the beautiful nature of Oregon, there is no shortage of hiking trails nearby. We'd recommend using the AllTrails app to find a good hiking trail in Corvallis or the surrounding area!
Newport
Newport is a small town on the coast that is about an hour drive from Corvallis. Not only will you find some stunning views if you choose to walk along the beach, but some great shops and restaurants as well! You can visit land marks such as The Yaquina Lighthouse and the devils punch bowl, or spend some time at the Oregon Coast Aquarium or visiting the sea lions. This cozy town is a great place to visit for the day, and if you go, be sure to grab a bowl of clam chowder!
Lakes and Rivers
There are plenty of river spots and lakes to visit if you want to go for a swim, kayak, or paddle board! Foster Lake is one of our favorite lakes to visit and is about an hour drive from Corvallis. There is also a natural water slide located by Triangle Lake that we can give directions to get to. Here you can slide down natural rock formations, do some mild cliff jumping, or just go for a swim! We also know plenty of river spots to enjoy, just message either one of us for a location if you're interested!
