Maid of Honor
Alexandra is Amanda's older sister. Growing up, they shared everything, even the nickname “Alamanda” when people couldn’t tell them apart. Alexandra has always been someone Amanda can rely on, offering unwavering support, honesty, and love through every stage of life. Simply put, Amanda wouldn’t be Amanda without her sister Alexandra.
Groomsman
Big Mo aka the mayor of Rhode Island. Mo was Ivory’s roommate and teammate at the University of Rhode Island and quickly became one of his closest friends. To know Mo is to have a friend for life. His energy, personality, and ability to connect with anyone & everyone make him someone you never forget.
Bridesmaid
At first, Kendall was Amanda’s older brother’s girlfriend, the one who graciously drove her to school everyday and happened to be her soccer teammate. Over time, Kendall became a true friend, a true sister to Amanda, and now her sister-in-law. Kendall has been, and continues to be, a constant and meaningful presence in Amanda’s life.
Groomsman
Caleb and Ivory met freshman year on the football field at URI, where they quickly realized they shared the same relentless work ethic. Together, they pushed each other to become the best versions of themselves both on and off the field. Caleb has served as an example to Ivory of what discipline, consistency, and faithful stewardship truly look like.
Bridesmaid
Tory and Amanda met freshman year of college on the soccer team at the University of Rhode Island. What started as a friendship quickly turned into becoming roommates, and they spent their time running around Rhode Island, Tory always felt like Amanda's partner in crime during their time at URI.
Groomsman
Alex is an extended family member of Ivory’s, and whenever they spend time together, there’s probably a little too much tequila involved — and somehow Ivory starts thinking he’s Colombian too. Alex always reassures him by reminding him there are Black Colombians and that he passes the test. The two met in middle school, and to this day, they’ve remained close friends.
Bridesmaid
Grace was Amanda's first friend at The University of Rhode Island. As teammates and freshman year roommates, their bond grew quickly. Grace has been there through many phases of Amanda’s life, growing alongside her every step of the way.
Groomsman
Hunter has the spirit of a wild horse; he’s a testament to someone who lives life on his own terms. Ivory and Hunter developed a strong relationship through their faith. What started as prayer nights turned into music production, deep conversations, and true brotherhood.
Bridesmaid
Jadyn is another soccer teammate turned roommate. Known as the friend who is always down for anything, she brings fun, spontaneity, and great energy to every moment. Jadyn is easily one of the funniest people Amanda knows.
Groomsman
Joey was Ivory’s first friend outside of elementary school — aka his first partner in crime. From riding bikes around town to pranking neighbors at night, they were always getting into something together. Joey was also Ivory’s first QB in high school, creating memories of multiple game-winning touchdowns together. Through every stage of life, Joey has remained a strong friend to Ivory.
Bridesmaid
Brooke and Amanda first met during their time on the soccer team at the University of Maryland, but it wasn’t until they were both living in Washington, D.C. that their friendship truly grew. Since then, Brooke has become a great friend and a constant source of support someone Amanda can always count on, no matter the season of life.
Groomsman
Ivory’s little cousin, Joshua always believed Ivory was his brother rather than his cousin growing up. Joshua was known for having a big head as a baby — probably because he was smarter at age 6 than Ivory was at 16. One of the brightest kids around, Joshua is good-hearted and high-spirited.
Officiant
Zachary, Amanda’s older brother, is someone deeply important to both Amanda and Ivory. Intelligent, reliable, and unwavering in his presence, he has always been someone Amanda has looked up to. To have him officiate their wedding feels only fitting an honor they hold deeply and they are profoundly grateful to have him standing beside them on such a meaningful day.
