Ivory and Amanda’s story first began at the University of Rhode Island, where, as freshmen, they moved through the same spaces as student-athletes. One on the soccer field, the other on the football field briefly crossing paths without ever truly knowing the role they would one day play in each other’s lives. Years later, Ivory braces-free and Amanda no longer rocking a bold white head, of hair they found their way back to each other. The chemistry between them was effortless, but it was the depth of their connection, their shared values, ambitions, and vision for the future that made it undeniable. What they found in each other was rare. From that moment on, life became a shared journey. They grew together, supported one another wholeheartedly, and chose, again and again, to build something lasting. Together, they took a leap of faith and moved to Maryland so Amanda could pursue her fifth year, while Ivory began laying the foundation for his career. Soon after, they planted roots in Washington, D.C., purchasing their first home, welcoming their beloved dog Koda, and creating a life filled with intention, joy, and meaningful relationships. Every step has been purposeful. Every chapter has led them here.
