The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. Cocktail dresses, maxi dresses, and suits are encouraged. For ladies, we recommend a block heel or a wedge heel as the ceremony will be in the garden. Stiletto heels are not recommended, but it's up to you!
Although we would love to accommodate everyone who wants to celebrate our big day, unfortunately, we can only accommodate those people noted on the invitation. If your invitation is addressed to you and your guest or says "and Guest," then yes. If not, then please do not bring a date.
Please arrive 15 - 20 minutes early so that you can get a seat and get comfortable. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 pm.
As much as we love your little ones, this is an adult-only celebration so everyone can enjoy themselves!
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place at Locust Grove Estate. The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. Cocktail hour will be held both indoors/outdoors, and the reception will be indoors.
We kindly ask that you please refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. We’ve hired wonderful photographers to capture these special moments, and we want to be fully present with each other — and with all of you. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you’d like!
There will be two shuttle times leaving from the hotel. The first shuttle will arrive at the hotel at 4:00 pm for boarding and depart for the venue at 4:10 pm. The second shuttle will arrive at the hotel at 4:40 pm for boarding and depart for the venue at 4:50 pm. If you would like to explore the gardens before the ceremony, we recommend you take the earlier shuttle.
We will have two shuttle times leaving from the venue to head back to the hotel. For those who want to leave earlier, the first shuttle will arrive at Locust Grove at 10:45 pm for boarding and leave the venue by 11:00 pm. The second shuttle will arrive at Locust Grove at 11:20 pm for boarding and leave by 11:30 pm to head back to the hotel.
