Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 12:00 pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to noon to give yourself plenty of time to park and find a seat.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, please RSVP to the events as soon as possible. However, the deadline is September 24, 2025. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as 'no'. We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand.

Will there be alcohol served or available?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar! We ask that all guests please drink responsibly and do not drive if you plan on drinking. Please make arrangements for a safe ride home. We can't wait to celebrate accordingly!

Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

We have a room block available at the attached Hyatt Place Wilmington Riverfront! Please see the "Travel" tab for more info!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited and listed on your RSVP card. If you've received a plus one, they'll be specifically listed on the RSVP card. Otherwise, we ask that only the named people in the invitation are in attendance. Thank you for understanding!

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Yes! The sun will (hopefully) be shining on our outdoor ceremony. However, the reception will take place indoors. Please make sure to dress appropriately and keep hydrated throughout the day.

Can I smoke at the venue?

Answer

SMOKING Riverfront Events is a smoke-free establishment. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas, such as the Christina Riverwalk. Additionally, electronic smoking devices are only permitted in the designated smoking areas. Any violation is subject to a fine.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

As our reception will include a buffet with a wide variety of dinner and dessert options, you will be able to choose what you would like on your plate! However, if you have a severe allergy, especially one that is life-threatening, that we should know about, please message us!

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are several hotels in the area to choose from! If you would like to stay at the same hotel where our ceremony & reception is being held, please see the "Travel" section for the Hyatt Place Wilmington Riverfront's information. We have a limited room block available here!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Riverfront Events venue and attached Hyatt Place Wilmington Riverfront has plenty of free parking in their parking lot. There are several nearby attached parking lots to choose from that also provide free parking.
