What are the Covid rules for the wedding?
Answer
Update: As of March 5, 2022 there will no longer be a requirement to be vaccinated/tested to enter events. Since our wedding venue is outdoors, you will not be required to wear a mask; that decision will be up to you. Businesses (Bars/Restaurants) may choose to require you to provide proof of vaccination or a negative test to enter. I suggest you have at least a photo of your proof and your ID on you, in case they want it. As of now, our venue is not requiring this, but that may change.

What are the Covid-19 policies for entering the state of Hawaii?
Answer
Update: As of March 26, 2022, you will no longer be required to provide proof of vaccination nor a negative Covid test to enter Hawaii. There will be no screening to enter Honolulu at all. There is still an indoor mask mandate. You will be required to wear a mask while indoors. As of March 5, 2022 there will no longer be a requirement to be vaccinated/tested to enter bars and restaurants. However, businesses may choose require you to provide proof of vaccination or a negative test to enter. I suggest you have at least a photo of your proof and your ID on you, in case they want it.

We know that most of you are traveling a far distance to be with us and your gift to us if your attendance. If you do feel so inclined, we have a honeymoon fund set up on this website, under “registry”.

Typical April temperatures on Oahu range from 65-79 degrees. Off and on showers are common.

Is there somewhere to rent gear for the kiddos?
Answer

How far is the venue from Waikiki?
Answer
The venue is about 22 miles from Waikiki. It will be about a 45 min drive. There is parking at the venue. If you plan to Uber to the wedding, we suggest that you schedule your ride back ahead of time. The venue is on the windward side of the island, which is a lot quieter and may not have too many Ubers available. If you would like to take a taxi back to your hotel, Thecab is a taxi service located in Kaneohe. Their number is (808)422-2222 You can also plan ahead and schedule a transportation service. These are great if you have a large group. There are many on-island.
