The Beginning of Our Forever

Derhone and Amanda met in July, 2016 at a "Pretty Koolout" event in Bowie, Maryland that honored their fraternity and sorority. Derhone is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated and Amanda is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Derhone approached Amanda as she entered the "Pretty Koolout” and asked her on what would become the start of their love story — their first date. The couple thanks their beloved organizations for bringing them together.
