Amanda and Chad’s story started all the way back at freshman orientation at Fountain Valley High School. While they technically met that day, life had other plans—they went their separate ways and didn’t cross paths again for a few years. Even so, they were never too far apart: Chad on the football field as the quarterback, and Amanda on the sidelines cheering him on. It wasn’t until senior year that their story really began. Amanda signed up for the annual girls’ football game and convinced Chad to step in as a coach. As fate would have it, he became the quarterback coach… and she was the quarterback. What started as practices and playbooks quickly turned into something more, as they spent more time together and got to know each other in a whole new way. After graduation, Chad finally asked Amanda out—and the rest came naturally. They built a relationship full of laughter, growth, and years of shared memories. Life eventually took them on a brief detour, giving them time to grow on their own. But some things are just meant to be. They found their way back to each other, stronger and more certain than ever. Now, they’re excited to start this next chapter together—forever teammates.
