WEATHER UPDATE

The weather is looking gorgeous so far for this weekend, however, if there is an inclement weather we will plan on having our ceremony at The Imperial Room (our reception venue). We will let you know if this happens by Sunday morning via e-mail! Feel free to contact Karen Janowski (781-983-1737) in case you have questions or need help.

Our Story

First comes school, then comes marriage

It all began, as many good Eckerd College stories do, at a party, on a balcony in senior year of college. He saw her. She saw him. They talked and sparks immediately flew! Although they enjoyed talking to one another that weekend, it wasn’t until several days later when Amanda asked Cameron out on a date. What was supposed to be a simple walk, turned into an entire afternoon and evening date ending with pizza and a first kiss! From that moment on, it was love!

The Proposal

The "No!" heard by over a hundred people 850 feet up in the air

Cameron brought Amanda to New York as a special birthday present. Only a week and a half after her birthday, the couple traveled to NYC where they decided to explore what the city had to offer. Immediately, Cam decided they should go to Rockefeller Center and check out the observation deck called ‘Top of the Rock’. After a long line to get in and half an hour of waiting, the pair made it to the top. Amanda was looking out over the city, when Cam put his hand around her saying, “It’s been seven years…” got down on one knee in front of everyone there and asked, “Will you marry me?” Of course the obvious answer was YES, however, Amanda (who is always trying to figure out surprises) was caught so off guard and in such disbelief that all she could say was, “No? No? No?” as in I can’t believe this is happening! Luckily, a family nearby said, “Say yes!” which Amanda remembered was the word you are actually supposed to use when someone asks you to marry them, and quickly responded, “YES!” Thankfully, Cam knows her so well, he was unphased and the two happily kissed, smiling and laughing as they called their parents to share the good news.

Our Adventures

"To love is nothing. To be loved is something. But to love and be loved, that’s everything." — T. Tolis

Along with the incredible adventure of getting married, Amanda and Cameron look forward to traveling the world, visiting friends across the country, and learning more about one another! We are so excited to share our special day with close friends and family! As we look forward to dancing to Greek music, lip syncing to “My Heart Will Go On,” and drinking delicious libations, we welcome you to look around our website for info, ideas, and overall good vibes! See you all May 26th! - Mandy & Cam

For all the days along the way
