Maid of Honor
I'm Xochitl Hernandez, blessed and “honored” to be Amanda’s Maid of Honor! I have been besties with Amanda since we met freshman year of college. We met simultaneously in both the music department at Cal State Northridge as fellow classmates, and at church, as part of the young adults ministry! PS: Amanda was much better at music theory than me and was a huge help to my 8am class scaries. Since then, we have celebrated a decade of strong friendship going through so much together even when miles away: serving at church, singing on praise team, adulting, careers, cross country moves, hearing about this mystery man she fell head over heels in love with in Samoa, everything in between and a lifetime more to come.

I met Amanda in grad school for Music Therapy at CSUN, but we really connected over our love for Taylor Swift. When Amanda had an extra ticket for the Eras Tour, she called me, and we have been besties ever since. We went on to get into the same internship, where we spent lunch time laughing over grape eating competitions. Our friendship continued to grow as we spent nights playing pickleball, watching the bachelor, and having game nights! Then, when I got married in August 2024, Amanda stood by my side. Now I am so excited to stand by Amanda on her wedding day!

Amanda and I met on somewhat of a blind friend date! Pastor Rob at our church thought that we would click and well…the rest is history! We bonded over our love of Gilmore Girls, Jesus, and thrifting. I was so excited when Amanda came back from her trip to Samoa and told me about this awesome guy Brent that she met there. I got to watch them fall in love and now - walk down the aisle and start their life together!

Hello! I’m Francesca. I met Amanda at CSUN in the music therapy program in 2020. Due to the pandemic, we didn’t actually meet in person until much later! Some of my favorite memories with her are our dinners at Local Peasant with good food, fun drinks, long talks, and lots of laughter. I feel so lucky to stand by her as she starts this next chapter in life, and I’m so excited and honored to be part of her wedding day and celebrate her and Brent.

Hi! I’m Valentina. I had the pleasure of meeting Amanda in 2021 when we both joined an all ladies life group at our church, and then we were set up to be accountability partners! Ever since, Amanda has been one of my dearest and closest friends. My favorite memories are our deep conversations about life, our Farmers Market hang outs and our Acai Bowl dates (which I miss 🥹). When she told me about Brent, my heart was so full of joy because we have been praying for this guy to come for the longest time!! And here we are, some days away for the biggest “Yes” of her life, experiencing God’s faithfulness and purpose at its fullest! We’ve grown so much, now both of us building our families, I couldn’t feel more honored and happy to be by her side as she becomes Mrs. Amanda Santiago 😭🤍
