We’re getting married!!

Story time! Brent and Amanda met as they embarked on a mission trip to Samoa together through church. They later discovered they had been sitting just three rows apart in services for months, if not years, and had never connected! If we’re really being honest, at first glances both Brent and Amanda assumed the other was “too young” or “much older” and so dismissed the possibility of anything being there. As they trekked through the airport of LAX at the beginning of this mission trip, they found themselves walking alongside each other and began a casual conversation that evidently planted seeds of interest soon to be watered. It was so easy and pleasant to talk to each other! As they experienced the work and movement of God together firsthand in Samoa, and witnessed each other love on people around them, feelings grew. Shoutout to Brent’s brothers Nico and Eddie who started calling Amanda “big sis” all week long as they picked up on this growing affection. 🫠🤭 The day after the team returned home from this trip, Brent offered to drive Amanda up to her hometown to retrieve her cat, where he also introduced himself to her mom and brother Alex with no hesitation. He even took Alex to lunch and Amanda became the third wheel! On the drive back to LA, Brent ended up asking Amanda to be his girlfriend and the rest is history. She spent their first Christmas together with his family on a cruise, he joined her for various occasions where he built relationships with her family, and they began developing joint friendships and making countless memories. On October 25th, 2025 Brent planned out a special day and proposed to Amanda on the beach! And now if you’re reading this, you get to celebrate them becoming husband and wife this June!! We smile every time we tell our story. It’s an amazing testament to what God can do. 🤗
