Hotel
We have secured a hotel room block at the Bethesda Marriott as this is the same location where the reception will be held. Please note there is a Marriott Bethesda Downtown which is NOT our hotel. Our hotel is located at 5151 Pooks Hill Road, Bethesda, MD. It is very close to the highway, easy to access and has parking. The room block is available for booking and there are enough rooms for anyone who would like to use it. The deadline to reserve under the room block is April 8, 2026. The wedding group room rate is $138 per night for a standard two queen or one king room, plus tax. We also have a discount on parking, which will be half price for guests staying at the hotel. Parking will be the discounted rate of $11 a day for overnight guests. To get this room rate and discount on parking, you must book using the room block. Travel Note
We will be providing complimentary transportation to and from the Bethesda Marriott to the Washington National Cathedral for the ceremony. This is available for ALL guests (regardless of whether you are staying at the hotel) who would like to use this service. Parking at the Marriott is complimentary on the day of the wedding so there will be no charge unless you choose to leave your car overnight. (Note: if you choose to drive to the Cathedral, there may be a fee for parking.) Shuttles will be at the hotel at 2:15 p.m. and will depart at 2:30 p.m. to allow you time to explore the Cathedral prior to the ceremony. Shuttles will leave promptly after the ceremony. If you miss the shuttle either way, Uber's/ride share options are readily available in both locations.
Flight
The closest airports are Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). BWI is located in Baltimore, MD and DCA is in downtown D.C. Both are within an hour of the venues and have cab service available onsite. Services like Lyft and Uber will also pick up from there. In addition, DCA is connected to the DC Metro (subway) system. If needed, there is Dulles International (IAD) Airport, which is a little farther away but still within an hour or so (depending on traffic).
