The wedding will be held at Acre Los Agaves, a stunning venue within Acre Resort in San José del Cabo, Mexico. Acre is known for its lush gardens, sophisticated desert aesthetic, and incredible dining - their restaurant has earned a Michelin recommendation and Green Star for sustainability, so you can expect an unforgettable culinary experience. Fun Fact: Acre is also home to an animal sanctuary and dog rescue. If you fall in love with one of their pups during your visit, you can even adopt and bring home a furry friend!
The wedding dress code is Black Tie Optional. Men: suits or tuxedos. Women: formal dresses or gowns. Please note: Acre Los Agaves is not a beach venue. The entire space is paved and features a sophisticated desert aesthetic, so you won’t be walking on sand.
Resort Chic — ALL WHITE attire required Think white summer dresses, linen, etc. IMPORTANT: The bride & groom will NOT be wearing white during the yacht party, so please wear all-white head to toe. Examples are in the Gallery section (and please avoid white on the wedding day!)
The majority of wedding guests, including the bride and groom, will be staying at Villa La Valencia, where we have a room block reserved.
No, it’s not required, but it is highly recommended to spend more time together. Round-trip transportation will be provided for the welcome event and wedding from Villa La Valencia. If you choose to stay elsewhere, you’ll need to meet at Villa La Valencia for transportation or arrange your own transportation. Acre is in a secluded, tucked-away location, so we do highly recommend utilizing the transportation from Villa la Valencia even if you don't stay there.
We’ve reserved a room block at Villa La Valencia for our guests. To book within the room block, please use the link below and make sure the code “ahwedding” is applied. Book here: https://bit.ly/46T2U20 The booking link currently shows only the “Deluxe” room category, but we have discounted rates for any room type available at Villa La Valencia. If you prefer a different room type, you can either contact Amanda or Andres and we can have the resort add that room type to the block, or you can book a Deluxe room and call the resort’s call center afterward to upgrade to the room type you want. Please note: Booking through the link ensures you get the discounted group rate and other wedding perks. Availability is limited, so we recommend booking early!
No, our room block gives you the option to choose between a European Plan (room only) or All-Inclusive. That said, food and drinks in Cabo are priced similarly to high cost of living U.S. cities like New York, Miami, or Chicago. Based on our experience visiting Cabo, all-inclusive offers significant savings - even after factoring in wedding events - unless you plan to eat and drink entirely off-site.
Unfortunately, Villa La Valencia does not allow outside guests or offer day passes. This means you must be staying at the resort to spend time on the property or use any of the amenities. This also applies to Sunday’s “Pool Day,” where we’ll be relaxing at the Villa la Valencia pool and unwinding after the wedding.
Yes! We’ll host a welcome boat party on Friday, taking a private dinner cruise to the famous Cabo San Lucas arches, and a farewell pool hang on Sunday at Villa La Valencia. More details and times will be shared on the Schedule page.
We’re so excited to celebrate with you! All invited guests will be clearly indicated on your invitation. If you have any questions about your RSVP or guest details, please reach out to us directly.
Both the welcome dinner boat party and the wedding venue are 18+, so children will not be allowed to attend either event. However, Villa La Valencia offers babysitting services, which you can coordinate directly with the hotel to arrange if you plan to bring children to Cabo.
Acre’s culinary team will work to accommodate dietary needs. Please note any restrictions when you RSVP.
Mid-November typically brings warm, sunny days and cooler evenings. Average temperatures range from 75–85°F during the day and 60–70°F at night. Rain is rare, but evenings can feel breezy so you may wish to bring a light wrap or jacket for comfort.
