FAQs

Question

How do I get from the airport to the hotel?

Answer

We recommend booking a shuttle to pick you up from the airport. There are plenty of services available, but see 'Travel' section for a link and discount code for a preferred shuttle service

Question

How do I get from the Grand Hyatt to the wedding Saturday night?

Answer

We'll have air-conditioned shuttles to transport guests from the hotel to the venue, Villa La Joya, which is about 30 minutes away. Please arrive in the hotel lobby at 3:45pm. If you miss the shuttle or would prefer to arrange your own transportation, taxis are available in town

Question

Do I Need a Covid Test to Enter Mexico or Return to the US?

Answer

You do not need to take a test to get into Mexico, but you will need a rapid test to get back into the US, which can be taken the day before (or day of) your return flight

Question

How do I get a Covid test (for return to US)?

Answer

The Grand Hyatt will have on-property Rapid Antigen tests for guests for $35. For those staying a minimum of 3 nights, two tests per room will be complimentary (additional tests available for $35). Rapid Antigen test results are provided within 30 minutes. Appointments are required - please schedule your testing appointment prior to arrival or upon check-in by contacting the hyatt (+52 984 875 1234 or ghplaya.concierge@hyatt.com). Please note, only certain approved-for-travel at home rapid tests will suffice.

Question

Check your passport expiration!

Answer

Your passport must have an expiration date at least 6 months after travel date to be considered valid

Question

Can I Book Spa/Salon Services?

Answer

Yes! The Grand Hyatt has a full service spa and salon. Please contact the concierge to book your services. We recommend reserving at least a week ahead of time.

Question

Will I Be Digging My Heels Into Any Sand?

Answer

Nope! None of the events will be directly on the beach/sand. Part of the reception will have grass (mainly the food stations, lounge areas, and bar) but the majority will be on solid ground. The grass is very thin and you won't need to worry too much about your heels digging into the grass :)
