This is where we got engaged! The state park is home to the Mile High Swinging Bridge, wildlife museum, and wildlife sanctuary. There are lots of fun lookouts with breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and many hiking trails to explore!

Home to Appalachian State University, downtown Boone has plenty of entertainment to offer. There are awesome restaurants and breweries, antique shops, taverns with live music, and more.

This is our favorite post-hike spot! We come here every time we travel to Boone. They’ve got live music, amazing cheese and charcuterie boards, a pizza oven, and cold brews!
