Any COVID-19 Updates?

Answer

At this time, we are moving forward with the wedding as planned. Our families health and safety is very important to us which is why we will be taking all necessary precautions related to COVID-19. The entire event will be outdoors, and we will be under the outdoor crowd limit of 100 people set by the state of North Carolina and town of Duck. If you are coming to the event, please feel free to wear a mask and social distance- we want you to feel comfortable! We understand that you might not be comfortable celebrating in a group and if that is the case for you, please toast us from home (just let us know)!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Beach dressy, please. Wear linen pants, button downs, maxi dresses, and sandals. This is a great time to break out your floral and tropical prints! Our ceremony will be held on a private sound-front beach. Please choose shoes accordingly.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will have a personal shuttle that will pick you up wherever you are staying. Please send the address to Alyx or Travis. Check out our Travel page for all the info you need about the shuttle or places to stay!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is NO parking at the ceremony/reception site. Please plan to take the shuttle from your hotel or Airbnb. You can also Uber, but there may be limited availability.

Answer

Please check out our "Travel" tab above. There are a few options in the area, and we have a room discount at The Hampton Inn.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. Our venue is very intimate and can only hold a small number.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids- we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Let us know if you need any help finding local childcare accommodations.
