Our wedding is a time to celebrate with all of you - the gifts of your time, your love, and your blessing are what really matter to us both. We did not know how to create a registry that felt comfortable to both of us - acknowledging that we have no needs. In order to develop a registry that we could both feel good about, we sourced goods from small businesses, many women-owned, several black-owned. Especially now, supporting small businesses is of the utmost importance.
We have also selected charities we feel passionate about. Raiko has selected the Semper Fi Fund, an organization that provides financial assistance and lifetime support to combat wounded, critically ill, and injured members of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. Alyx has selected Project Grapple, a non-profit organization that engages students in underserved communities in Miami through participation in wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, emphasizing skills like discipline, respect, and grit.
